Drupal Developer (contract)

The Center for Investigative Reporting is seeking a contract Drupal developer to help us customize and build new features for our website.

CIR is an independent, investigative reporting organization dedicated to revealing injustice and strengthening democracy through journalism. We have content-producing partnerships with dozens of prominent national media outlets, including National Public Radio, PBS, FRONTLINE and FRONTLINE/World, The Nation, KQED, The San Francisco Chronicle, LA Times, Salon.com, Huffington Post, and many others.

Specific goals include integrating Flash and other multimedia features into our Drupal site, streamlining the content-management system and the use of nodes and modules. Experience with CSS, PHP, and MySQL required.

Ideally, we are seeking someone proactive who can not only actualize our proposed plans for the site, but can suggest new features and methods of working with Drupal that will improve the user experience and functionality of our website.

Please email Carrie Ching at cching@cironline.org.
